Definition Of Resource Recovery Revenue Bond:

resource recovery revenue bond A debt obligation, usually issued by a municipality or local government agency, the proceeds of which are used to construct a facility that converts solid waste into some sort of salable item.
Debt service is generally covered through fees paid by firms disposing of garbage and through revenues from the sale of an end product such as energy or fuel.
